Under the red moon of Brunsbüttel - A concert review by Uli Neumann:

Each SAILOR concert is very special, the Brunsbüttel concert within the scope of the "NDR 1 (North German broadcasting company) Welle Nord Sommertour" was no exception.
Brunsbüttel, that is a small town only away 35km (22mls) from my home town Heide (which is famous for Germany's largest market place) and only about one hour from my actual living-place Wedel (near Hamburg). Uli and Ulrike at the concert
Actually the concert should took place near the sluices of the Kiel Channel but was relocated to the place in front of the "Elbe Forum" because a grumbler living near the sluices pronounced to make trouble because of the noise of such events.
So this was a place without ships a perfect background for a SAILOR concert but this place has the advantage of lots of parking lots very close to the venue. A fast-food-restaurant is close to the venue, too, and offered alternatives to the overpriced chippies.
Before the concert the citizens of Brunsbüttel hat to cope a task. There had to me at least 300 poeple whon should be ready to color their hair in red, blue and white. Finally there were more than 1.000 poeple who did so.
The bands Freestyle and Hot Banditoz brought the audience in a good mood for the SAILOR concert. In the meantime a partial lunar eclipse colored parts of the moon in a dark red color. A SAILOR concert under a lunar eclipse, I guess, this was the first time this happened.
Regrettably Katrin was not there - exceptional for a SAILOR concert in Germany. She runs this website and is the best source for all SAILOR-related information.
SAILOR started with "A Glass of Champagne" as usual, played most of their hits and some cover-versions. The audiance got more and more excited instead of "Zugabe! – Zugabe!" (encore) the audience shouted "SAILOR! SAILOR!" I’ve never heard this before. But after a little more than one hour the concert was over.
I’ve been looking forward to this concert for a long time but then it was over much to fast leaving photos, TV-clips and memories of a wonderful and unforgetable evening. Thank you Grant, Henry, Phil, Oliver and Georg (for creating these wonderful songs).
