A concert review by Katrin Wagner:

It's 12 o'clock when school is finally over and I reach the office of my brother Karsten. Almost two hours later we drive to Recklinghausen where SAILOR are going to perform during the tour that they are doing together with some other bands.
The problem with this tour is that SAILOR and the other bands always have to perform in two different towns in Germany on one evening. Today they will first perform in Gütersloh and then come to Recklinghausen in order to do their second show. That means that we won't be able to see them as long as usual because the will surely be very tired when they arrive.
Many fans who haven's seen SAILOR live in the new line-up yet want to come today.
At 4.20 pm Karsten and I reach the concert hall in Recklinghausen. We take all the stuff we need for the concert and go to the concert hall in order to wait there. A short time later our friend Christel arrives, and some other fans, Claudia and Stephan arrive later, too.
The doors of the concert hall are officially opened for the audience at 7 pm. Karsten and I meet all the other fans right in front of the stage: Christel, Andreas, Claudia, Stephan, Heiner, Inka and Manuela.
The Oldie Night starts at 8 pm with the first band: The Barons. Then we watch the performances of John-Paul Young and Jeff Christie.
SAILOR finally arrive at the concert hall at 11.30 pm, having performed in Gütersloh a few hours earlier.
It's 12.30 am when the Nickelodeon is finally brought on the stage. Another 25 minutes later the stage is finally ready for SAILOR, and their show starts with "A Glass Of Champagne". Then they play "La Cumbia", "Give Me Shakespeare", "The Old Nickelodeon Sound", "Vera From Veracruz", "Mack The Knife" (as usual sung by Phil), "The Secretary", "Cotton Eye Joe", "Pop Muzik", "Girls Girls Girls", "Catwalk Girls" and the Champagne Reprise.
Today we finally see SAILORs new encore for the first time. It's a very funny performance where they first dress as captains and then start to strip to the music of "In The Navy" and "Hot Stuff" which the boys call the "full monty". - MARVELLOUS!!
Afterwards the audience is in such a great mood that SAILOR have to do a second encore, and they perform the "Latino Medley".
After SAILOR's show all the other people leave the concert hall, while we wait for the boys. Henry, Phil and Grant come to us a few minutes later, and Peter also joins us a short time later together with his daughter Lucy. We talk for a while, before we all leave the concert hall at 2.30 am in order to say goodbye to our SAILORs and wave, while they drive to their hotel.
