"Self Portrait With Christine"

The story
behind the painting:
This is one of my later paintings from the SAILOR days. It
balances the two fundamental symbols in my life with my then wife
Christine. On her side of the painting there is the grounded
world, depicted by the buildings in the background, representing
her enormous support for my work during those early difficult
years. On my side of the painting, one sees the floating street
lamps which represent the dreamer in me, trying to give light to
my ideas.
