SAILOR: It started in the brothel...

Their trademark is the sound of the Nickelodeon, a piano-like instrument which is played by two people with the sound of a honky-tonk piano, songs arranged with several voices and strange clothing: The four guys of SAILOR usually present themselves - as the name already tells you - in sailor-outfits. Their songs deal with the pleasures and pains of sailors on board and in the harbours, prostitutes, houses of pleasure and loud harbour pubs. The songs are written by SAILOR-guitarist Georg Kajanus. Because he has got a very special relationship to sailors and prostitutes...
