All three musicians had interesting careers since their first cooperation as singers in the band of Sir Cliff Richard in the 90s before they became lead singers of their present bands - The Hollies (Peter Howarth), 10CC (Mick Wilson) or The Sweet and before that, SAILOR (Pete Lincoln). They worked with many top names of the music industry and will finally be back together on stage again for a special concert experience. FRONTM3N present songs that everybody knows and loves. Each song with its own story from the musical journey of those three musicians. Three voices - three guitars - nothing else.

New song and video by The Sweet with Peter Lincoln: "Defender"
and...
New DVD "Live In Berlin" by The Sweet with Peter Lincoln
and...
Peter Lincoln and Andy Scott at Rock Meets Classic 2016

There might not be any SAILOR news, but once again we can bring you some great news from ex-SAILOR-captain Peter Lincoln:

1. The new song/video of The Sweet with Peter Lincoln on lead vocals is out. You can watch"Defender" below.
Here's what Andy Scott says about it: "
We felt that Defender really needed a video but what and in which direction. One of the suggestions was animation/cartoon but as we all know that requires very special technique and was therefore was not considered a reality. Enter Jon Birch. He grasped the nettle and in amongst his extremely busy schedule has produced a very original Promotional video for us. We would like to thank you Jon for your amazing skill, time and effort. Apart from me being miscast as a super hero the result speaks for itself."
The song and another new song "Still Got The Rock" are available on the double album "Action! The Ultimate Sweet Story (Deluxe Edition)" which just made it back into the German charts.

2. The Sweet -"Live In Berlin" is the exclusive concert DVD for the final tour 2015/2016, recorded on 19 September 2015 in Berlin. Pre-order the DVD now and get the limited edition version including very nice extra surprises.
The DVD can be ordered via the
shop at www.stuff-music.de.

24 January 2015:

video rarities

Sometime in 1975 SAILOR played a live concert in Zürich (Switzerland) that was broadcast on TV. The video of the show called "In Concert" was lost for nealry 40 years. Only an audio tape was available via the former fan-club in the 90s, leading to the belief that this was actually a live radio show. But rumous never stopped about this TV recording, and just in time for Christmas Eve, Santa brought me copy of this show, which includes rarities like "The Pimp's Brigade" and the French version of "Josephine Baker" - an overall amazing and extraordinarily fun concert of SAILOR.
And, since there are no present SAILOR news, I thought you might all enjoy those rarities:

Videos:

  • Here are Georg, Henry, Phil and Grant live in Zürich (Switzerland) in 1975 with "Open Up The Door":

  • ...and also with the only known French recording of "Josephine Baker":
