New FRONTM3N album "Enjoy The Ride"

The new album of FRONTM3N - Pete Lincoln (known from The Sweet, SAILOR), Peter Howarth (known from The Hollies) and Mick Wilson (known from 10CC) - is released on 29 October 2021. It features only FRONTM3N-own songs written by Pete, Peter and Mick and is extremetly entertaining and versatile. You can buy the album from all the usual online music stores.
The three musicians already know each other since their work for Sir Cliff Richard in the 90s and have created this special project with songs from all their bands and projects.
Also check them out on their tour (dates at
www.frontm3n.de).

Press info:
The "British Eagles" are here. Enjoy The Ride", the new work by FRONTM3N, will be released on 29 October 2021.
The second studio album by Peter Howarth (The Hollies), Pete Lincoln (Ex-The Sweet) and Mick Wilson (Ex-10CC) impresses with great melodies, impressive harmony vocals, fresh sound and finest songwriting.
Unlike their 2018 debut album, when the star trio served the fans mostly great new arrangements of the mega-hits of their "old" bands, the new disc contains twelve brand-new songs written by themselves and finely produced by Mick Wilson, which nevertheless fully sound like FRONTM3N and also let fans of Toto and the Eagles completely get their money's worth.

Ex-SAILOR-captain Pete Lincoln joins Smokie

On 19 April 2021 ex-SAILOR-captain Pete Lincoln shared the following surprise with us:

"SMOKIE
I’m absolutely delighted to bring you the news that I am embarking on an exciting new adventure. With immediate effect, I am joining Smokie, and will be with them on all future live dates . . . as soon as circumstances allow.
My relationship with the band goes back a long way, in fact we have been great friends for more years than I care to remember! We have always enjoyed each other’s company and I’m very much looking forward to working with them, and to the fun times that no doubt lie ahead!
I would also like to take this opportunity to echo the sentiment of Smokie fans the world over, and wish my predecessor, Mike Craft, farewell and all the very best for the future. He leaves behind big shoes, and I promise that I shall do my level best to fill them!
I am also very happy to report that my involvement with FRONTM3N will of course continue, and our plans remain unchanged.
So, here’s to new challenges, to new friendships, and to creating many more memories with many wonderful live shows . . .Remember live shows???
Pete Lincoln"

Well, if I've learned anything over the last 25 years (whether it was with SAILOR, The Sweet, solo gigs, FRONTM3N or anything else) it's that the way to go to feel great at concerts is the marvellous guy/voice that is Pete Lincoln.
We wish Pete all the best for this new adventure with Smokie and will of course report from his concerts with them here whenever we can, as well as continuing the report on his marvellous solo concerts and the shows with
FRONTM3N.

Best wishes and SAILOR-greetings,

New music by Oliver Marsh's band River Circus

We'd like to introduce you to this great new band of SAILOR captain Oliver Marsh:
River Circus is an amalgamation of Tony Cantisano’s and Oliver Marsh's extensive rock past. A sound that can be heart soaring on one side with a dark side of brooding intensity.
Their new unplugged EP is now available on all digital platforms, featuring the songs "Tick The Box", "Trust" and their own bluesy arrangement for the classic 80s Huey Lewis "The Power Of Love". Also check out their 5-song EP from January 2021 with the songs "Tick The Box", "Followers", Find You", "Ride This" and "Trust":

News from Georg Kajanus

This message from Georg Kajanus reached us via the Sailor Musical Facebook page. Georg wrote:

"Well, you may have noticed that I’m not a frequent poster on Facebook. That’s because I’ve been working away on three different projects in the last few years. The good news is that 'Sailor, The Musical Drama' and 'People Industry, The Classical Musical' are now finished. Unfortunately, due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, theatrical and film productions are on hold to a certain extent. A new trailer for the Sailor Musical will be created soon… Of course, you can always go to the Georg Kajanus Facebook Page for the latest news and views, however, my posts on that are rare as well, because, I have a lot to do!
